Naturopathy



Naturopathy is a treatment that uses natural remedies to help the body heal itself. It embraces many therapies, including mainly breathing therapy (Pranayam), Yoga, herbs, massage, acupuncture, exercise, and nutritional counseling. Naturopathy was brought to the eastern and western world from India and most of its treatments are centuries old that were originated by Rishis {Saints} like Patanjali, Gautam, Dhanvantari, Vashishtha, Jainism and Buddhism. In Naturopathy the balance of Vaat(air), Pitt (acid) and Kaf (mucus) is maintained in the natural life style and food habits. It emphasizes the regular practice of pranayam and yoga, soft- smooth micro yogas that keeps the immune system high so that the body does not let the infection and bacteria enter in the body.

Herbs and other dietary supplements maintain the ideal metabolism of the body.Treatment in Naturopathy is based on the concept of Panchamahabhutas - Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether(universal space) which form the basic constituents of the body.
